I love it! I enjoy exploring the castle and getting into the random encounters. The dialogue between the characters made me chuckle a couple of times. I do have some ideas for the game. Having a map would make advancing the plot so much easier. Being able to slow down the text during combat would be a big help to know who did what and when. I would love to see custom game over scenes other than seeing the red dragon. I can't remember her name as I am terrible with names. I have never become over encumbered due to being to fat, full of blue berry juice or over inflated. That would be a fun mechanic to play with. Over all I can't wait to play the next update and look very much forward to it! Good work with what you have done so far.

Hiya, I noticed that the person below me had troubles finding the Balcony Watching Over the ENTRANCE, not garden. Turns out I can't find it either?

What's up with that, dev? I even checked every shadow and wall of 2f which is what the preview hints, chocolate and candy cane.

said balcony is on the first floor balconies, but you can reach it from the first and second floor. it's directly the room where you find wendy

I haven't slept in 2 days....where is the chocolate bar for spiffy....where is the teleporter for the balcony watching over the garden...i went to a garden but it had no portal...I can't find the last piece of food for Silver Spear

spiffy take chocolate cake, not bars. you can find the cake slices in the study and the hanging gardens

if your referring to the crystal in the hanging garden, it can be found at the top. if your referring to the crystal on the balcony in the first floor, you can find it by heading down below where you find wendy

also you can't find the last bit of food for the spears in the current version as it's not in the game yet. if i remember right they should say as much after you feed them enough

yes, I have tried redownloading it. I play it on joiplay and unzip with rar. It's entirely possible neither program sees it tho

i'm not familiar with joiplay. it's possible that might be interfering with the game files, maybe?

It's an Android app. Try it out. It can play many rpgs with it's rpg reader addon.

Honestly, I have no issues with other games.

I'm pretty like this game alot but when the full will announce? Please tell me when new versions will announce! 

Hey there, been really enjoying the game so far! I did have a question, though; are books meant to be offhand/shield items, or are they meant to be in the main/weapon hand? I've noticed how they boost defensive stats rather than offensive ones, but I end up having to choose between carrying a book or carrying a weapon like a staff or sword. It seems to mess with the auto-optimize feature (or maybe that's how it's meant to be, I don't know!)

hey! glad you're enjoying the game! in regards to your question, they are meant to be weapons in their own right. admittedly, though, the way the game currently is seems to disfavor them pretty heavily, so i'll probably have to do a lot of rebalancing for a lot of gear in a later update :V

And I getcha. If that's how their meant to work, that's certainly your perogative. I wasn't certain, since they definitely seem geared much more towards defense (hence why I thought they might be shield/offhand items).

Oh, one other question; have you considered adding an option to adjust the text messages during fights? Some of them flash by so fast, I can't read them before they're gone.

you're not the first person to ask that. i might know how to fix that, but it might cause a lot of the fights to drag a bit, so i'll to test it out some :V

Heya! I left a comment on version 0.2.1 last year to say how neat I thought the game was, though I wished for more of a challenge. I just wanted to say that I think you really delivered on that this time! Some of the optional fights towards the end of the demo especially pushed me to use the party's full potential. It felt great to beat Kalani on my first try after hearing how folks on the Weight Gaming forum were struggling with the fight. >:D


Consumable items to recharge FP are a very welcome addition! It felt better to use high FP cost abilities knowing that I could replenish that FP with an item if I think that I'll need it. I had a lot of fun playing around with the Gadgeteer profession, since she has such a unique way of buffing party members. The changes made to the Lipomancer also make fights in the early game more interesting with the option of mass expansion status infliction at a lower level. Of course, I think the Fighter and the Cinnamon Roll will always be my favorites! "This is what it means to go even further beyond!!"


Finally, I thought that the arena was a really neat idea! A boss rush mode without healing in between fights and scaled up boss encounters sounds like an awesome way to test your skill and your party's strength. Also, I was a little sad that Valcano Bakemeat didn't make a return for the Boss Rush mode! ;-;

will there be more weight states?

not really, just the one fat status, and i don't have any plans on really going beyond that for player characters

I think the root of the question's if there will be more instances of states like Caer's overcharged-

I have a suggestion, you could make a fat status which, when inflicted multiple times, causes extra damage 

i'm not against that idea but i'm not quite sure how to code something like that :V

Maybe like the burning status but with a different picture of the character

you would have to create a point counter(p) on that attack and a increase rate(r), then you multiply the rate by the points then add to the damage(d) so you would make a equation for damage from that:

nd=r*p+d

nd stands for new damage aka the amount of stack-able damage.
